Mission
Catherwood’s mission is to be the signature option for travelers in search of personalized and transformative experiences. We serve the traveler who craves adventure through informative archaeological expeditions, explorations of daily life in the modern Maya world, or immersion in nature as well as the traveler seeking direct contact with the peninsula’s plant and animal life. We serve the traveler who hopes to explore the peninsula’s rich culinary heritage; travelers in search of specialist-, expert- and professional-led photographic safaris while traveling in five-star comfort and style; and the traveler who demands his/her experience be part of a local-community-friendly and environmentally-responsible tourism program.
