A private, unrestored Catherwood Travels hacienda, located very close to Uxmal, the imposing capital of the ancient Mayan world and the Puuc Route.
In the interior you can explore an acropolis, much older than the standing buildings of the other archaeological sites that are near. It was built centuries before even the Pyramid of the Magician. The historical constructions that stand out in the hacienda are: the hut of the sugar cane farm, the albarradas and a church that preserves in its interior colorful paintings on murals of the ruins of its chapel that dates back to the 18th century. Traditional Yucatecan meals are served inside this beautiful church. And after eating, you can relax in the old tank converted into a swimming pool and enjoy the mysticism of the place, its history and its imposing beauty.
